EF Solare Italia is actively involved in promoting a culture of renewable and sustainable energy along the whole school curriculum, to shape the professionals and the consumers of tomorrow.
EF Solare Italia has promoted higher education this year too, by supporting university specialized Masters on renewable energy, Rome’s La Sapienza University Master EFER and Master Safe.
Masters’ pupils, heading toward becoming the next generation of professionals in the industry, had the chance to learn how an operator such as EF Solare Italia handle a utility-scaled portfolio of solar plants, with a complete overview of all the different aspects, from financing to maintenance.
Master EFER students have been guests in our HQ for a cycle of classes, started with the meeting with CEO Diego Percopo and Vice President Giuseppe Noviello, who illustrated the current state of the Italian solar industry and the leading role of the company in it.
In the following meetings, the students talked about refinancing with CFO Lorenzo Petralito, of plants acquisitions with Head of Business Development Marco Aulisa and of O&M with COO Sara Di Mario.
There was also time for a field trip at Castelluccia photovoltaic plant, just outside Rome, thus pairing theory with practice by witnessing first-hand the generation process from the solar source.
Master SAFE, which this year has reached its XX edition, had seen EF Solare Italia collaborating since the selection process, hosted in our HQ and enriched by the testimony of Francesco Palmieri, a Master alumni, who told the candidates its educational experience and the following professional path.
CEO Diego Percopo then spoke during the Opening Ceremony at a panel along with the partner companies’ and institutions’ representatives, to compose a mosaic of the energy transition process.
Percopo then held an informal meeting with the students at their Seat, to explain how EF Solare Italia’s future will look like as the leading photovoltaic player in Italy.
The whole day- experience in our Rome’s offices was very instructive for the students. An intense day where the participants had the chance to meet the representatives of all areas of the new organizational structure of EF, learning the operational processes and the challenges that our Team meets every day.
Lastly, there was again time for a field trip: the students visited the Cassiopea photovoltaic plant in Montalto di Castro, with our colleague Olimpia Baragatti.
EF Solare Italia, as the leading photovoltaic operator in Italy, is actively involved in promoting a culture of renewable and sustainable energy, starting from solar power, along the whole school curriculum, to shape the professionals and the consumers of tomorrow.
