Solar Plaza Asset Management Europe 2024
Francesco Palmieri, Head of Asset Management at EF Solare Italia, took part in the new edition of Solar Plaza Asset Management Europe, international conference dedicated to the world of asset management in the photovoltaic sector.
In particular, he featured in the panel focused on the future of photovoltaic systems, “Future-proofing the End-of-life Phase of Your Solar Assets – Recycling, Revamping and Repowering.” The discussion covered end-of-life of assets, repairs, recycling of materials, and innovative business models. At a time when many European PV installations are reaching operational maturity, it becomes critical to identify effective strategies to address these issues. EF Solare Italia is a pioneer in this field, having embarked on an ambitious revamping and repowering plan involving 450 MW of installed capacity.

Extending the useful life of plants allows to maximize return on investment and make the sector more sustainable, also from a circular economy perspective.”
