EF Solare Italia attended the International Conference “Innovation, experimentation and sustainability for agrivoltaic systems” at Palazzo Gravina in Naples.
The event, organized by the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II in collaboration with ENEA-National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, explored strategies for the development of sustainable agrivoltaic systems to promote the energy transition.
Angelo Pignatelli, Head of Engineering, took part in the panel “Innovative Technologies for Agrivoltaic Systems,” to present technical features and agricultural results of the Scalea (CS) prototype, EF Solare Italia’s flagship research project. Data collected from the prototype suggest a positive correlation between water savings, crop quality and integration of agricultural activity and renewable energy production.
