Michela Demofonti - Insitutional Affairs & External Communication
Michela Demofonti is Head of Institutional Affairs & External Communication at EF Solare Italia.
She has a degree in Political Economy with a focus on European Studies from La Sapienza University of Rome. She approached the world of energy during her university years, which were concluded with a thesis at the OECD in Paris on the integration of generation from renewable sources in the European electricity system. She has always been interested in deepening issues related to external relations and attended the “School for Public Policy” of the Italiadecide Association and the Executive Course in “Lobbying and Institutional Relations” by LUISS Business School.
She began her work experience in 2012 at Gestore dei Servizi Energetici in the Contracts Department, where she had the opportunity to gain knowledge about incentive systems for renewable energy sources and electricity withdrawal. In 2014-2016 she developed experience in the retail electricity and gas market in a start-up context, dealing with back office activities towards end customers and contract management of suppliers in the Operations area.
In 2016, she joined EF Solare Italia, initially dealing with energy management activities and communications to institutional bodies. Later, she followed special projects such as the definition of Brand Identity and the development of corporate communication channels. She currently manages activities pertaining to institutional affairs and external communications. Monitors regulatory developments and coordinates lobbying activities to achieve business objectives. Manages relationships and active participation in work within trade associations.
Manages ESG activities, particularly the sustainability report drafting and ESG planning.
