Andrea Ghiselli - CEO
Andrea Ghiselli is the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of EF Solare Italia.
Andrea Ghiselli became Chief Executive Officer of EF Solare Italia in 2020 and has been involved in the company’s industrial transformation ever since. At the same time, he has served as a board member of the most important renewable energy associations. He is also part of the board of Renovalia, a leading renewable energy operator in Spain. Following the strategic acquisition by EF Solare Italia of the project developer and engineering company SCS Ingegneria in 2024, he became its Executive President.
He began his career at McKinsey, working on business development, operations, and performance improvement in infrastructures, defense and aerospace, energy, and banking sectors. Building on their experience in strategic consultancy, he progressively specialized in energy and infrastructure.
In the energy sector, he contributed to the operational transformation of the leading Italian Utility A2a. He led nationwide organizational integration and efficiency-improving programs, covering managerial positions in Supply Chain and Logistics, ICT, and Design to Cost.
In 2016, he entered the infrastructure business joining the leading Italian airport services provider (SEA Milan Airports). As a Member of the Board, he contributed to the reevaluation of Lombardy’s airports and managed the primary Italian airport handler (Airport Handling Spa).
He holds a degree in Economics and one in Applied Statistics at the University of Bologna. He later completed an MBA at INSEAD.
