AGRIVOLTAICS INDUSTRY FORUM EUROPE 2023
EF Solare Italia took part in the Agrivoltaics Industry Forum Europe 2023, an international meeting, gathering in Strasbourg the stakeholders of this rapidly evolving sector, to explore the technical and economic aspects of agrivoltaics and to confront innovation and the positive spillovers of agrivoltaics on the social and environmental levels.
Ettore Acampora, Head of Business Development and energy Management, and Angelo Pignatelli, Senior Engineer Manager, intervened at the roundtable dedicated to the sectoral Best Practices. They presented the group’s projects and studies, building upon the long-lasting experience with solar greenhouses to develop the present elevated agri-PV model, capable of optimizing electrical and agricultural performance.
“We believe that agrivoltaics is a key solution to enable the large-scale development of solar PV, ensuring a fruitful collaboration with the agricultural world and protecting the territories” commented Acampora. “We keep on investing in research and innovation to grasp the powerful opportunities offered by this technology” added Pignatelli.
